Who: Anyone who wants to see Linux or run it on their computer.
- Volunteers always needed, please e-mail your pledge for time.
What to Bring:
- Your computer with specs including monitor, keyboard, mouse, and network card.
- What you hope to accomplish and learn by installing Linux
- Encouraged to RSVP but not required
- Additional materials are available. Click on the Installfest link in the left sidebar of the our home page.
Installations take 30 minutes to several hours, please arrive within the first few hours.
We will also help with installing Free Software applications such as Firefox, OpenOffice.org, the GIMP, Blender and Inkscape on other operating systems.
