Developer Meeting
Topics: All are invited but topics are about software and hardware development with and/or for Linux.
When: First Thursday of each month at 7:30PM
Where: University of Advancing Technology, 2625 West Baseline Road Tempe AZ 85283. This is close to the US 60 and Interstate 10 by Fry's Electronics. Meetings are held in room 203.

East Side Meeting
Topics: Various topics ranging form beginner's to advanced, user to administrator.
When: Second Thursday of each month at 7:00PM
Where: Kirk Student Center, Mesa Community College, 1833 W. Southern Ave., Mesa, AZ 85202

Parking: There is visitor parking next to the Library at the southeast corner of Dobson and Southern -- Parking Lot A on the MCC map. There is one row of visitor spaces which are clearly marked in yellow. There is also visitor parking in Parking Lot V which at to your left (east) as you enter from the main entrance on Southern Ave. Please use the visitor spaces as parking anywhere else may result in your car being ticketed.

Restrooms: Restrooms are on the second floor of the Kirk Center. Accessible by elevator or stairs.
What to expect:

  • 6:30 - mingling/networking and last minute setup
  • 7:00 - Formal meeting starts with announcements and other plug business>/li>
  • 7:15-7:30 - Presentation(s)
  • 9:00-9:30 - Clean up and CAT (Chat About Technology) at the local Filibertos. (We sit around and talk about Linux over Mexican food)

West Side Meeting - Please Note Meeting Location Change

Directions: Exit the 101 @ Glendale Ave - go East to the first traffic signal light - turn right at the light. Go to the flashing red light signal, stop first, then turn left (East) to Sunset Blvd (pass thru several stop signs - Sunset is the last street prior to the actual buildings). Turn right on Sunset and drive past the open air entry on your left . Turn right into the parking area and park. Enter through the open air entrance, but go into the fist set of doors on your Right (no, not the DeVry doors on your left . Once thru the doors, turn left and walk back to the elevators - take one of them to the third floor. Look around - see the doors with the DeVry / Keller decals? Enter, turn right down the hall, then ledf to room 315 on your left.

Easy, right? Actually, a lot easier than it sounds...just follow the directions...

As the front door will be locked when we leave, we should exit by taking a little jog to the left as we exit the meeting room, and go thru the exit door at the end of the hall -- take the elevators down, and you are back where you entered the building, at the Security Desk.

PLUG Linux Installfest
Topics: Bring your computer to get Linux installed, get help with some configuration issue, learn about Linux or help others. Great fun!
When: January-October: LAST Saturday of each month at 10:00AM to 4:00PM

It's the building slightly east of the marker on the south side of Baseline. Enter through the doors on the south side of the building.

PLUG Linux Security HackFests
